Island Bay Market: We Raised $500 for Wellington's Birds!

What an amazing day at the Island Bay Market! Thanks to the incredible community and our friends at Poneke Animal Rescue, we raised over $500 for the birds in our care.

What Your Donations Fund

Every dollar raised goes directly into patient care at Flock Birdcare Wellington. That means food, veterinary costs, medications, equipment, and working towards our three key infrastructure goals - a 3x2m kereru aviary, a suitable seabird enclosure, and a smaller bird aviary.

These aviaries are not just nice to have - they are what we need to expand the species we can care for and the level of rehabilitation we can provide. The kereru aviary in particular is essential for us to move beyond our current holding permit and provide full rehabilitation for these gorgeous native pigeons.
