Wellington Bird Rescue: Which Suburbs We Accept Injured Birds From

If you have found an injured, sick, or grounded bird and are wondering whether Flock Birdcare Wellington can help, the answer is almost certainly yes. As Wellington's only independent DOC-permitted native bird rehabilitation facility, we accept birds from across the greater Wellington region, including Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Porirua, and Wellington City.

How to get help for a bird in need

If you have found an injured or sick bird, please contact us as soon as possible. The sooner a bird receives professional care, the better its chances of recovery and release. You can reach us through our website contact form or find first aid guidance in our blog.
